(Feel free to not read this! XD) I thought it would be appropriate to start off my real gallery with him. Suto is my beloved character that has inspired so many other things. This is his truest form, how I have always pictured him in my mind. Since it is at night when others are sleeping, I thought it would be appropriate to have him in nice beige/off white sleep pants and his hair down. Even though he can be a brash piece-of-work, Suto has his calm moments of clarity.... occasionally. Somethings that I tried to work on with this piece were hilights and shadows to create a more contrasting appearance. My other works were a bit "flat" so I am trying to really make them stand out without going overboard. One thing that I know is off about this image is his left hand. -sigh- I admit I just gave up after trying to get it the best I could. I will try harder next time. ^^ The ship itself could probably have stood for a bit more detail, but I wasn't sure what to do with it. O_o; Anyway, it is what it is. I am pretty proud of this piece, and I definitely think I put some good effort into it. It probably took me seven or more hours, and that is way above my usual average. I like this a lot, Foxie. Definitely one of your better works. I LOVE the shading on his skin. Really intense. :3 This is really wonderful.
